Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Jumproo ("Jumproo", "we", "us"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

Jumproo provides AI-assisted resume and cover-letter building, resume analysis, ATS scoring, optimization suggestions, and a job board. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Accounts & eligibility

Jumproo is built for students and job seekers. You must be at least 13 years old to use Jumproo. If you are under 18 (a minor in most places), you may use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account. Keep your login credentials secure.

4. Subscriptions, billing & automatic renewal

Paid plans (currently Basic and Pro) are offered on a recurring subscription basis, billed monthly or annually. The exact price, billing frequency, first charge date, and applicable taxes are displayed clearly at checkout before you confirm your purchase.

Authorization for recurring charges. When you start a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method the then-current subscription fee on a recurring basis — at the start of each billing period — without requiring your prior approval for each individual charge, until you cancel.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period for another period of the same length, at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time (see Section 5) to stop future renewals.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Any change will apply only to billing periods after we have given you reasonable advance notice (for example, by email). Continuing your subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Failed or expired payments. If your payment method is declined, expires, or otherwise cannot be charged, we may retry the charge and/or suspend your access. If you do not update your payment details or cancel, you authorize us to continue attempting to charge that payment method, and you remain responsible for any amounts that were not successfully collected.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account via "Manage Subscription," which opens our payment processor's self-service portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free plan. Cancelling is at least as simple as signing up. If you have any trouble, contact support@jumproo.ai and we will cancel for you.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment; after that, payments for the current billing period are generally non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to avoid future charges. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the consumer laws of your country (for example, EU/UK/Australian consumer guarantees).

7. Chargebacks & payment disputes

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact support@jumproo.ai first — we will work to resolve it promptly, including under our Refund Policy. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, or in a manner inconsistent with these Terms and our Refund Policy, may result in suspension or termination of your account. We retain records of your subscription consent and usage to respond to disputes.

8. Student program & promotions

Discounted student pricing and other promotions are subject to eligibility verification and the specific terms presented at the time of the offer. We may withdraw or modify promotions, and revoke discounts obtained through ineligible or fraudulent means.

9. No guarantees of outcomes

Jumproo provides general guidance only. We do not guarantee that using our service will result in job interviews, job offers, or employment. Content is generated in part by AI and may contain inaccuracies. You should review all output carefully and use your own judgment before relying on it.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate false or misleading resume content
  • Fabricate work experience, credentials, or achievements
  • Use automated tools to make bulk or abusive requests to our service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our models or analysis methodology
  • Resell or redistribute the service or its output as a competing service

11. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you upload (your resume, cover letters, and job descriptions). You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service to you. The Jumproo platform, templates, software, and branding remain our property and may not be copied or reused except as expressly permitted.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jumproo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50.

14. Dispute resolution & governing law

Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@jumproo.ai so we can try to resolve the matter informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

15. Privacy

Your use of Jumproo is also governed by our Privacy Policy. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-product notice). Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
