When you're emailing your resume directly rather than applying through a form, the email itself is the first thing read, before your resume ever gets opened. Here's how to write one that gets opened and taken seriously.
Subject Line
Keep it specific and scannable. A vague subject line ('Application', 'Resume', 'Hello') gets buried or ignored.

Email Template
Keep the body short, 3-4 sentences. The resume and cover letter carry the detail.
